There have been heretical mis-attempts to Scripturally justify the selection, confirmation, and appointment of the inferior-gender, weaker-sex [woman] Sonja Sodamire as candidate for NO-term-limitation Souter-replacement judge on the United States Supreme Court.

Sonja Sottomayor does not regret making her freudian-slip statement that a Hispanic woman can "add something to the court a white male cannot."

Add "something" indeed: a lot of sexually-harassing gender-chauvinistic prejudice!

She still feels the same way: nothing has changed!

What she does regret is that her sexist statement has been widely publicized, is proof to honest people that she has gender bias, and therefore is not at all qualified to sit as a lifetime-member judge on the High Court.

Ironic, isn't it? The same sexist declaration years ago that got her into a lower court because of sexist superiors now is the reason she might not be confirmed nor appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Hopefully, she will be borked by the discerning, courageous, and trustworthy.

The near-unanimous Republican vote against Sotomayor on the Judiciary panel reflected the choice many GOP conservatives have made to side with their core supporters and oppose a judge they charge will bring liberal bias and racial and gender prejudices to her decisions.

Conservative activists are pressing for the GOP to keep up a united front against Sotomayor, whatever the political consequences. "Republican senators on the Judiciary Committee deserve praise for putting principle above identity politics today in voting against Sonia Sotomayor," said Curt Levey of the conservative Committee for Justice.

The senior Republican, Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, countered that Sotomayor's speeches and a few of her rulings show she would let her opinions interfere in decisions.

"In speech after speech, year after year, I believe that Judge Sotomayor set forth a fully formed, judicial philosophy that conflicts with the great American tradition of blind justice and fidelity to the law as written," Sessions said.

Still, Republicans pointed with particular concern to Sotomayor's record on gun and property rights [not to mention abortion-homicide], as well as a much-discussed rejection by her appeals court panel of the reverse discrimination claims of white firefighters denied promotions. And every GOP senator who spoke alluded critically to the now-infamous remark Sotomayor made in 2001 that she hoped a "wise Latina woman would often reach better conclusions than a white male without similar experiences."

Sotomayor dismissed the comments during her confirmation hearings as a rhetorical flourish gone awry, a defense that rang hollow with many of her critics.

"I can't vote for her because she wouldn't defend what she said, and stand up and say, 'I really believe this, but I can still be a great judge anyway, because I will never let that interfere with my judging,'" said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who called Obama's standard "radical," said Sotomayor's record shows "a judicial philosophy that bestows a pivotal role to personal preferences and beliefs in her judicial method."

At the time of this writing, one major metro newspaper is trying to divert negative public opinion away from Sotomayor by stating that from now on (after no-term-limitation Sotomayor is confirmed and approved by the entire U.S. Senate), "conservatives" will take a harder look at the other Obama judicial candidates to follow. A tricky technique by the demonic media....but the righteous are not fooled. It is Sotomayor who needs to be rejected away from the High Court, and not simply future candidates!

The fact that Sonja Sotomayor was previously appointed to a lower court by political-compromiser George H. Bush (Sr.) who frequently did not completely follow through when and where he should have (for whatever cause)....is no justification for bestowing bipartisan blessing on Ms. Sotomayor.

For example, when Solomon stated in Ecclesiastes 11:7 that "it is pleasant for the eyes to behold the sun," such is true (unless one stares into it for several hours and goes blind); when Saint Paul stated in Colossians 3:3 that "you have died," when was your date of death recorded by the County or State Licensed Medical Examiner, what casket where you reposing within, where the funeral home where your lifeless corpse temporarily was, and where is the graveyard your body in casket was buried in? He also stated in Philippians 4:13 that "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me" (including jumping over the Moon without a rocket or out of a high-flying commercial jet without a parachute over farmland and not expect to be crushed upon impact)?

[The secret to spiritually-discerning sensibility and understanding pertaining to the above examples are the key words: in Christ! If a person is truly "in Christ," Christ through His Holy Spirit will not cause that person to want, say, nor do anything against Christ's holy and perfect will regarding applications of any claimed Scripture verse.

While we are on the subject, most disagreements, misunderstandings, bickerings, and heresies among those inside various religions, sectarian factions, and cultic denominations are because of concocting, embracing, and promoting MIS-translated verses of sundry English-worded bibles. Also causing wicked and needless dissension and division is a deviant and demented failure on the part of some to take the WHOLE counsel of God within the TOTALITY of the COMPLETE canonical 66-book Holy Bible. In other words, troublemakers impose disruption when they one-sidedly base their doctrine on one particular verse and then either ignorantly or deliberately ignore and disregard balancing verses stating the non-contradictory but vital other side of a paradox resolvable only in Christ Jesus Himself].

Even the Bible itself obviously and frequently differentiates plain distinctions between Jew and Greek, slave and free, male and female in many other verses of Scripture.

The "one in Christ Jesus" only and obviously applies to certain attributes and circumstances, such as all humans have souls and moral responsibilities and unity of mind (though not of one actual physical body) in Christ Jesus. It does NOT imply equality in terms of patriarchal authority pertaining to non-identical male and female gender]

First Timothy 2:12 = I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
First Timothy 2:14 = and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

[What part of "NO" woman might we not understand, the "N" or the "O?" Note the reference to the primal ancestors of all humanity (i.e. Adam and Eve) are alluded to, going way beyond the limited scope of "those in the church."
